I feel like this flow is one a lot of us don’t feel as comfortable with, so we don’t teach it as often. But clients love it, and it’s a great way to add variety to your classes!
There are several programs that have a yoga flow stretch in them. I’m attaching the guides and linking the videos:
My favorite, go-to strap flow is: Plank – child’s pose – spinal flow (either cat/cows or vinyasa) – grab yoga straps – kneeling overhead stretch (bend to right and left) – kneeling chest opener (straps behind back) – lay down and loop strap around R foot, pull leg back toward chest and either draw ankle circles or point/flex the toes – IT band stretch across the body – hip opener out to the side of the body – repeat on side two – bridge stretch to open the hips – low crouch, forward fold, neck stretch, three closing breaths.
